No, not really.
I will open any 13+ HCP hands (unless I downgrade the hand due to quacks, or unprotected honors).
For <13 HCP distributional hands, I add distribution points, and only when borderline, I will look at the quick tricks or loser count. I may not open a one suited hand with 12 HCP if the suit quality is bad, and 1NT does not look appealing.
